Across all of my professional identities as a clinical supervisor, counsellor educator, researcher, and licensed counselling therapist, I work through an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, feminist lens that is guided by the teachings of Etuaptmumk (Mi’kmaw phrase for Two-Eyed Seeing). I have the competencies to supervise therapists/counsellors who share the Code of Ethics of CCPA and as adopted by the College of Counselling Therapist of New Brunswick (CCTNB), and who work with individuals age 16 and above. I am also an approved supervisor for CCTNB.
Clinical Supervision
I hold the Canadian Certified Counsellor-Supervisor certification through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have completed graduate level course work in clinical supervision, and I have instructed graduate level course work in clinical supervision entitled, Counselling Supervision: Theory and Practice, as a Graduate School Teaching Associate for the University of Lethbridge.
