I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor-Supervisor (CCC-S; 0064) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT17-040) through the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB). I practice from an Integrative therapeutic approach which interweaves different therapeutic theories and approaches together to honour the unique needs of individuals. I view my clients in a wholistic way: mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually, and I have expertise in mindfulness-based approaches. Counselling sessions are 60-75 minutes in length.
As a Canadian Certified Counsellor-Supervisor (CCC-S), I currently work from a supervision model which views clinical supervision as an educational and relational process. This adaptable model allows me to position myself in the roles of teacher, counsellor, and consultant as I work with you. This model focuses on building the supervisee’s intervention, conceptualization, personalization, and professional skills. You will also be asked to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours during your counselling sessions. It is not unusual to engage in personal counselling services, however, this is not the purpose of the supervisory relationship. Supervision sessions are 60 minutes in length.
As a Kripalu Yoga Teacher, I offer private sessions, which may be combined with other modalities, such as Reiki or Clinical Hypnosis. Please enquire to best meet your needs and preferences. Sessions are 60-75 minutes in length.
